So went to the polyclinic to see the doctor to get MC and medicine for the day. Left home at 7:10, when I got there, the Q number is already 7066. Oh well, went to get the My Paper and Today. Came back at around 7:30, gates not open yet. At around 7:40, counters 1 and 2 started registration. Only at 8:15 did i get registered. Got room 24, the receptionist said that the doctor was a male, but the name on the door was... erm, Tracie or something like that. A nurse came out and stuck a piece of paper on the name later. Listened to my ipod and read the papers to wait for my turn. Quite a quick one today, only 4 patients infront of me, 2 dint turn up. (April Fools' Joke?) Went home with a bagful of medicine, cough syrup, flu capsules, Milk of magnesia etc even charcoal. (Tastes like biscuits, lol)
Went out for lunch at Chinatown, took the trains. Got drowsy on the trains, miraculously i could still recognise the way home. Walked from China Square to Hong Lim Cplx bus stop, took 124 (SBS 910A) to Opp Pearl's Centre. Crossed the road and took 851 to NTUC Income centre. Missed 579, 773D. 576 and 579 would arrive in 35 mins. Walked to YMCA to get a few shots. Saw a Scania Strider on 171... Too bad dint have time to wait for it to come back though. Took 2 shots at YMCA and went back to the bus stop at Hotel Rendezvous to wait for 576 or 579. Waited till 1pm. 580, 577, 578, 518 went past... Finally, 576 and 579 arrived together. 576 was 2794E, 579 was 2746U driven by ah teoh. He dee siao me by "Refusing me boarding" lol. The bus was empty then. A pax boarded at Raffles Hotel and that was it. The 576 was empty upon going to the ECP. (Misconception that 576 has a better load than 579...) Ah Teoh said that 2794 was more power than 2746, he played with the gearbox to chiong up to... erm 80 kph... We trailed behind 2794E until after Bayshore, when 2794 slowed down and we eventually passed it. Ah teoh told me that 579 took scanias in several breakdown occasions... oh well... Asked him to get a dart though, lets see if it will happen. The bus bypassed Simei altogether, I was like "Oh no". But he said that the pax would alight at St 45, so never mind. We took the 576 route, via TPE and exiting at Ave 7. The pax alighted at St 45 and he chionged all the way, ending the trip before reaching the last stop. I alighted "illegally" at the bus stop opposite the Polyclinic. Went home after that and took a nap, felt horribly drowsy. My head is still aching now... Help!
Today's cameos were mad... 8020 on 174, Scania Strider on 171, 2696E on 34, 2779 on 147. Oh well, its a weekday, and I wont care about it anyway... Too bad I was sick..
Anyway, 579 is running on Special 1 timetable from yesterday.
