Had Wan Ton Mee for lunch. The impact of inflation is easily felt, espacially food. Should have taken a photo of how small the wan ton is... Somemore you have to pay 30 cents for takeaway. (An excuse to be environmentally friendly? I guess?) Started hating fast food, makes me feel that I am cheated for my money everytime. Espacially the Filet-O-Fish. Mr Hamdan was right is Sec 1 "The burgers were so big last time that I had to cut them, now, you eat one bite and its gone, its not a burger, its a biscuit!" Next time the burgers may end up like your yupi chewy candy and you will pay a bomb for that tiny bit of food...
Left home at 123o, after a nice shower. Took a bus, forgot what bus it was, think it was a scania though. Met WJ at Tampines Int, waited for 1985C to come in. Paid 50 cents for the 579 ride to city. Obviously you can see who drove it lah. Made him miss a green light at the junction at Melville Park because i opened a cabinet to see if there is any "Hao Liao" inside there. Eventually, it met up with 2794E at Novena. We eventually overtook it at Somerset, if not we will be stuck behind a "drunk" BC. Took some photos at YMCA. It was so sunny, Tampines was raining very heavily a while ago. The floor was so hot, that it could even cook an egg... My shoes, cam and hair was very hot due to prolonged exposure to sunlight. Took 8033D to Coronation Plaza to transfer to 151 to Kent Ridge. 8033 is a gone case. A/c is horrible, it was a heater inside that K230. 1961X came and we took it to Kent Ridge. Got notified that 1893 was not in service. Met JY and ben at Kent Ridge Ter. We left on 520Z of 189 to Clementi Int. Went to catch 2702X on 52. Regretting that I dint take a photo of 2823E on 285. We met uncle Simon, whose bus (2779A) was having a bit of a problem, the speed could not exceed 30 kph. According to the Route Master, which was taking to him, he said that the Mechanic said that 2779A is a Mk5. (A misconception of DM3500s when they came out). The Route Master invited us into the Office to provide him with some information on the buses to help him "Challenge" the mechanic. While doing that, I browsed through the stack of guides that was in the office. Nothing special, 532, 166, SBST guide, all the usual stuff. We waited for uncle Simon's bus to come back for a downroute. So, we took photos of 8888D on 165 outside the int. His bus came left at 6:10pm. We took his bus from Clementi to Sengkang. Ending up late by around 30 mins. The bus was packed from MacRitchie Resevoir to Yio Chu Kang Road. The next bus, 1915E caught up at YCK Road and overtook 2779. 2779 became Off Service at YCK road. We arrived at Sengkang at 8:10pm. I left on Sv 27 back to Tampines. Had dinner at 9 plus :S. Oh well. Photos to be added later. Going out for lunch.
